Directors' Camp 2017
September 29th - October 1st
Hosted by our proud partner
Inspiring, supportive, intense, and unique. Those are just four of the words Directors’ Camp participants have used to describe this 48-hour experience. By limiting the size of the group to 50 and sequestering ourselves in a beautiful setting without electronic technology, we are able to achieve a level of focus and creativity that allows people to: (1) Set career goals; (2) Process current challenges; and (3) Learn advanced leadership techniques.
Each Directors’ Camp begins on a Friday afternoon and ends on a Sunday afternoon. During that period, some of the brightest minds in youth leadership including --Scott Arizala, Steve Maguire, Dr. Chris Thurber, Jack Schott, and Sarah Kurtz McKinnon--will guide participants through three themes: Staff, Parents, and Participants. The goal is simple to state and challenging to achieve: How to become the best leader of these three groups while still maintaining balance in your life.
Standard conferences can be fun, but you need to choose between competing sessions, wrestle your way through exhibit halls, and gamble with high-priced restaurants. Directors’ Camp is the ultimate un-conference. One group. No competing sessions. Great food. And the results are immediate: You’ll leave with new leadership skills, a better understanding of your style, a plan to take your career to the next level, and a renewed sense of purpose.
All-inclusive fee of $799 covers everything but travel
